Nice use of those blanx figures. THIS WORKS. I've seen a few other stuff with these and I was turned off by the hulking chest and tiny waist... but these work very well. Good job.

Thanks!

The waist size on the Blanx is small so that adding a belt or gear around the waist does not make them look too bulky in that area, and they still retain a heroic shape.

I also increased the chest size, and upper arm and shoulder on all of these a bit to give them even more of a superhero look.

I haven't actually viewed one of the figures in person, but I've been seeing a lot of customs done with them lately... I just can't get over the "superhero" shape. It's great for these types of customs, as you've shown, but for a more realistic Gi-Joe or Star Wars figure they just don't work well IMHO.

One of the issues you seemed to fix well was the bulbous shoulder joints.

The concept of the BLANX figures is one I've been saying the community has needed for years, and I'm glad someone is doing them. I just hope they get better, and more varied.

I'd love to see a female figure come along. I'm tried of re-using marvel universe female sculpts for everything!

The waist is small so they can be used for superhero types, but with just a little filling out around the waist, or as I said, belts or jacket or equipment or such, they work well for more realistic proportions too. I have a Jedi in this gallery and also a group of pirates that are all in a more realistic style. Have a look!

Thank you very much. I like Batman though, I'm keeping him! I don't really sell anything, I grow too attached!
